To all our OIBF friends, fans, staff, volunteers and artists,

With Covid-19 and Delta Variant infection rates constantly changing, we are diligently working toward providing a safe festival for everyone by following CDC recommendations. Your health and safety are our top priority. In accordance with CDC guidelines, effective June 1, 2021, the wearing of face masks or face coverings is no longer required for those who are fully vaccinated. The CDC recommends unvaccinated people wear masks, even outdoors, however, there is no mask mandate in the state of Oklahoma. Are Covid-19 vaccinations required to attend the festival? No, but we encourage everyone to be vaccinated for the safety of themselves and others who may not be able to be vaccinated. This information may be updated if CDC, state, county or local requirements change.

All OIBF attendees are strongly encouraged to wear facemasks over their nose and mouth for their own safety and the well being of others. This is your choice to make. As such, each individual is responsible for his/her own health choices. OIBF encourages all attendees to make use of recommended safety measures including vaccinations,  masks, hand washing and hand sanitizer and to recognize that it is a personal choice to attend the festival. OIBF is not responsible for anyone becoming infected with Covid-19 during or after the festival.

OIBF will offer FREE masks and have hand sanitizer in multiple locations throughout the festival grounds, including at the main entrance, campground entrance and volunteer/ re-entry gate in addition to the merchandise tent and backstage for our performers. We are providing extra hand washing stations and hand sanitizer dispensers will be provided in the portable toilets and we will be doing extra cleaning in common areas as needed.
