Creating an environment of Fun and Picking.

The Campground opens on Saturday, October 1st, 2022 at 12:00 Noon.

Update: Logan County has issued a BURN BAN effective 9/30/22 through 10/13/22 due to the drought. The portion of the burn ban relevant to OIBF is: “… it is unlawful for any person to … build a campfire or bonfire…”  Exceptions:  “Outdoor Cooking: LPG, natural gas and pellet grills for outside cooking in a grilling receptacle are permitted provided that the activity is conducted over a non-flammable surface and at least five (5) feet from flammable vegetation.” The Guthrie Fire Chief has informed us campers may also use charcoal or propane to grill. You can barbeque your little hearts out as long as you follow these Logan County rules and are careful!  We appreciate your cooperation for everyone’s safety.

Cottonwood Creek Campground Stage

The Cottonwood Creek Campground Stage is located at an official OIBF tent on the North end of the campground, this venue features “open-mic” on Thursday, Friday and Saturday during the festival, except during Band Scramble. Anyone can sign up for a twenty-minute set, on a first come, first serve basis.

Performances showcase diverse acoustic music styles and genres. Last year, music fans saw great bluegrass, folk, country, original acoustic, and swing music in an intimate, performer-friendly environment. The music was constant and simply outstanding.

The Cottonwood Creek Stage expects a full schedule, and maybe a few surprises. Don’t miss the Cottonwood Creek Stage prize drawing.

Look for our handbills around the festival. Keep on pickin’.
